How Arrangements Are Made

It is likely that you will find the idea of arranging a funeral daunting. Our aim when initially meeting with you and indeed through the whole of the time that we are helping you is to make you feel as comfortable as possible. You will find the way we work will making this a reality.

To begin with, simply call our phone number. Your call will be answered by a qualified and compassionate funeral director no matter what hour of day it is, no matter what day of the year. We will then help you to the fullest of our ability.

Arranging a Meeting

When you are ready, we will make an appointment with you to meet and make the funeral arrangements. This meeting will be made at a time that suits you. This meeting can take place in one of our comfortable and conveniently located premises or indeed if you find it preferable, in your own home.

There is no such thing as a normal funeral arrangement, you will be able to take as much or as little time as you need, and do not worry if you cannot make all the decisions when we meet with you, this is often the case. You will be given time to make these decisions. We will be able guide you through everything you will need to think about, give you a wide breadth of the options available to you and give you the best advice from our years of experience.

Depending on your situation and what is happening you may find it more practical to make the funeral arrangements via phone calls, e-mails or zoom calls. We are happy to oblige and make the arrangement in the way you prefer.

Is there anything I need to bring with me?

If you know you want your loved one to be wearing certain items of clothing, then you can bring these with you when we are making the arrangements.

If the person who has died held a funeral plan with us, you can bring the funeral plan certificate with you. If you can’t find it, don’t worry, we’ll get in touch with our funeral plan office who’ll be able to locate this for you or we will already have a copy of this at our offices.

If there are photos that you would like included in the orders of service, you could bring these with you.

If there is a specific piece of music that you would like that you think will be impossible for us to find you could bring this with you as well.

After the arrangements have been made you will receive a letter from us confirming all the details for the funeral that have and will be made, along with this there will also be a full estimate of the resulting costs of the funeral.
